Throwing Axe
This Hanwei short axe, replicating
Viking weapon, is made to withstand throwing, with forged
heads and hardened edges. Well balanced and competition approved.
The Throwing Axe could be used as a weapon
in two ways. As a hand-held weapon it was a lethal force,
capable of cleaving helms, mail and shields, while a volley
of thrown axes could disrupt an opposing force and allow
a breakthrough in a shield wall.
Please note that the head of most throwing axes is loose, allowing the purchaser
to customize the position of the axe head to their liking. |
